Educational Programs Overview

The Division of Continuing and International Education (DCIE) offers a variety of credit courses / credit certificate programs and non-credit courses / professional certificates for students who would like to explore engaging topics through an online learning environment.

Credit Certificate Courses

Designed for the busy professional, credit certificate programs concentrate on a specific topic, allowing the student to focus on professionally enhancing subject matter. Credits earned from a credit certificate program may be applied to a degree; check with your academic advisor to confirm.

Enrollment Management

The Certificate program in Enrollment Management is designed for working professionals who have an undergraduate degree and seek career enhancing credentials and skills.

A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Higher Education is required to enroll.

Please note: A student may transfer credits from the online Certificate Program in Enrollment Management (EM) to the on campus master's program in Higher Education Administration once they meet the minimum requirements for admission to the on campus master's program. Students in the on campus master's program will not be permitted to take online course offerings designated for the online certificate program in EM.

UM Employees/Dependents tuition remission benefit will not be applied towards this program.
