Cancellation Policy for Individual Courses:
Cancellation requests received more than 3 days prior to class start date... 100% Refund
Cancellation requests received within 3 days (72 hours) of class start date... 75% Refund
Cancellation requests received on or after class start date... No Refund

Cancellation requests received more than 3 days prior to certificate start date... 100% Refund

The University reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any program with insufficient enrollment or for reasons beyond our control. In any such cases, a full refund of fees and deposits will be made. Before a refund can be issued, verification of your payment, confirmation of the pertaining records and administrative review and approval must be completed. While we will expedite your refund request, please allow a minimum of 45 days for processing.
The University of Miami reserves the right to change any provision or requirement, including fees, at any time, with or without notice. Degrees, courses, programs, activities and academic or nonacademic offerings of UM may also be changed from time to time without notice.
The University reserves the right to require a student to withdraw at any time under appropriate procedure. Furthermore, enrollment of a student in a University of Miami course or certificate program, does not imply that the student will be enrolled in any succeeding course or certificate program or admitted to the University of Miami.
The University also reserves the right to propose probation or deny enrollment to any student whose conduct is unsatisfactory or disruptive. Any admission on the basis of false statements or documents is void when the fraud is discovered, and the student is not entitled to any credit for work completed at the University of Miami.
When a student is dismissed or suspended from the University for cause, there will be no refund of tuition and fees paid. If a dismissed student has paid only a part of his/her tuition and fees, the balance due the university will be considered a receivable and will be collected.
