How to Register
for Non-Credit Courses

Professional/non-credit certificate programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of working adults or those who seek specific educational goals. These certificates are offered to provide a purposeful and systematic process for individuals who want to add new skill sets, prepare for a new career, or enhance their current professional status.

Courses may be offered in English or Spanish. Fluency in the selected language is required.

Students interested in professional/non-credit certificate programs should complete the registration process.

• Go to online non-credit courses, and click on a course detail page.
• Click the “enroll button” to continue the registration and payment process. This will redirect you to edMiami.com (the companion site of umiamionline.com). You will be taken to a course registration page for the course you selected.
• Click on the “Enroll Now” button at the bottom of the page, and follow the instructions provided for registration and checkout. You will be required to setup a username and password in edMiami.com, and then it will take you to a secure site in www.miami.edu to enter in your credit card information for payment.
